Utah Skiing Kicks Ass!

Say what you want about rankings, but they really are an easy way for people to debate a subject. A few weeks ago, Ski Magazine came out with it’s top 50 resorts for 2007, and Deer Valley found itself back on top.

The folks over at Skiing Magazine, which is owned by the same company, but is geared towards a slightly younger, more aggresive skier, came out with their list today, and once again, Utah resorts did pretty well.

Alta/Snowbird was the highest rated mountain in the state at number 4, with Brighton coming in at number 6. Park City Mountain Resort was 10th, The Canyons 13th, Solitude 14th, Snowbasin 22nd.

Tops on the list is Whistler-Blackcomb, followed by Jackson Hole and Crested Butte.

On a related note, Snowbird and Park City were both named Top Party Towns in the West (Whistler wins again here), and Cisero’s came in 6th on their list of Top 10 Mountain Bars.
