WHAT: NITRO CIRCUS Halloween Grand Prix, a one-day series of Moto-X and Off Road dirt bike races offers local riders a chance to test their racing skills against those of the sports’ top professionals. Racing classes from peewee to pro level are available and FUEL TV’s “Thrillbillies” will film the event. Spectators and participants can also treat themselves to a mix of Halloween related activities beginning at 7 p.m., such as a costume contest, trick or treating and an 8 p.m. advanced screening of the newest film from the motorsports entertainment brand NITRO CIRCUS (www.nitrocircus.com).

WHO: Amateur riders will test their skills against the following leading professionals from Moto-X and Off Road racing circuits:

Kurt Nicoll (Supermoto National Champion)
Kendall Norman (National Hare and Hound points leader)
Kurt Caselli (World Off Road Championship Series points leader)

WHEN: October 16, 2010, with sign-ups starting at 6 a.m., races starting at 8 a.m. and running until 5:45 p.m. Or sign up early on Oct. 15 from 5 to 8 p.m. All sign-ups close one hour prior to the start of each race. Trick-or-treating begins at 6 p.m., costume contest at 7:30 p.m. and Nitro Circus movie screening at 8 p.m.

A track designed specifically for the event by action sports superstar and NITRO CIRCUS originator Travis Pastrana (www.nitrocircus.com/crew/travis.html), and Gregg Godfrey (www.nitrocircus.com/crew/gregg.html), the executive producer of the brand’s television show, will test the abilities of amateur and professional riders alike.
