So I was at a luncheon the other day, and thankfully, I was the only one of five people at the table who has not gone under the knife for an ACL surgery.

Probably 1/3 of my soccer team has had a knee done, and Park City is the only place I've ever been where people ask "Who's your knee guy?"

All of that will be brought up tonight on the show when Dr. Vernon Cooley will be our guest, talking about the science of knee injuries, what can be done to prevent them, and how treatment has changed over time.

Much of this stems from a recent article in the NY Times Magazine, "The Uneven Playing Field." It's a good (long) read, but definitely of interest here in town.
