Sundance Rewind: MISS REPRESENTATION

Jennifer Siebel Newsom's documentary on women in the media, "Miss Representation" was a hit at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by OWN (aka Oprah TV) for airing next month. Newsom will be in Utah this week for a number of screenings and events (see list below), so in honor of that here are a couple of interviews/features we did with her during the festival.   • The Utah Film Center will offer a free screening in Logan at The Logan Art House and Cinema on Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m. [Details]
  • Thursday, September 22, RadioWest and the Utah Film Center will host a free screening of "Miss Representation" at Utah Museum of Fine Arts in Salt Lake City and at the Pleasant Valley Library in Ogden. The film begins at 7:00 p.m. at both locations. Jennifer Siebel Newsom will be on hand in Salt Lake City for a Q&A immediately following - and the conversation will be transmitted via Skype to Ogden.
