See The U.S. Snowboard Team in Style

This just in from Habitat for Humanity:

Haven’t been able to find the perfect gift for the snowboarding fanatic in your family? Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties (Habitat) may be able to help!

Habitat has announced that it has teamed with U.S. Snowboarding to offer for sale to the public up to ten (10) VIP credentials packages for the Sprint U.S. Snowboarding Grant Prix event to be held January 21-23, 2010 at Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR). Sales are on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. A significant portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Habitat and its affordable housing mission.

The historic halfpipe where U.S. athletes swept the men’s podium and won gold in the women’s event during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games will once again see Olympic-caliber competition. The Grand Prix makes its final stop at PCMR in January with back-to-back nighttime competitions, after which the winners will be crowned and the 2010 Olympic halfpipe team will be named. Among the many athletes expected to hit the PCMR halfpipe during Grand Prix weekend are Olympians Shaun White, Danny Kass, Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark.

Only ten (10) credentials packages will be sold by Habitat. Purchases must be made by December 31, 2009. This will be the only opportunity for the general public to gain VIP access to this event! The cost is $500 per person. Each package includes:

Friday, January 22, 2010:

    - Halfpipe finals: 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

    - Hospitality and dinner in private tent: Open 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Saturday, January 23, 2010:

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 21-24, 2010:

This offer is made possible as a result of generous donations from U.S. Snowboarding and PCMR. Packages will be sold on a first-come, first served basis while supplies last.
