Park City Television (PCTV) is pleased to team up with two great partners to present the ultimate in ski town entertainment – “Warren Miller Throwback Thursdays at Flanagan’s on Main.”
Starting October 7 and continuing every Thursday night through the close of the ski season (whenever that may be), Flanagan’s on Main in Historic Old Town Park City will light up the big screen with classic films from the master of the ski movie, Warren Miller.
From his first film, “Deep and Light,” which premiered 60 years ago to this year’s epic, “Wintervention,” Warren Miller Entertainment has produced some of the most memorable winter sports footage on the planet.
Ski fans will surely want to see these Warren Miller Entertainment classics “Ride” (2000), “Storm” (2002), “Journey” (2003), “Impact” (2004), “Playground” (2007), “Children of Winter” (2008) and “Dynasty” (2009), while also enjoying $1.50 tacos, $3.00 Coronas, and weekly giveaways from Cole Sport, Corona and Warren Miller Entertainment. In addition, Warren Miller went into the vault for some real classics and there will be a special screening of “Deep and Light” to celebrate its 60th anniversary, as well as 1961’s “Many Moods of Skiing”
Flanagan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is a true local’s hangout, featuring traditional Irish food, a full selection of whiskey, and of course “Perfect Pints” of Guinness draughts. Flanagan’s also presents a regular lineup of live music with local and national touring bands.
Flanagan’s is also hosting an exclusive pre-party on Oct. 29th before the screening of 2010’s “Wintervention” at Park City’s Eccles Center Theater.
