PC Jazz Festival Lineup


With three days of world-class music on two festival stages, an artisan’s village, great food and a beer garden, located at the spectacular Deer Valley Outdoor Amphitheater …the Park City Jazz Festival is Jazz With Altitude!

The Park City Jazz Festival spreads it’s wings with a unique and fun-filled lineup on August 22th, 23th, and 24th, 2008 at the Deer Valley Resort Outdoor Amphitheater. 2008 is sure to be a party featuring acts such as Blues Traveler, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and The Rippingtons. “To ensure the most dynamic group of performances for our diverse audience, the selection committee studied the charts, reviewed requests and looked at numerous artists. We like to provide both sophisticated music as well as music that will get you on your feet. We like to throw a party,” noted Kris Severson, Executive Director.

A limited number of Locals Discount tickets are available to Summit and Wasatch county residents with proof of residency at Deer Valley Signatures Stores and Deer Valley Etc, or by calling the Park City Jazz Foundation office at 435-940-1362. These $25 General Admission tickets are supported by generous grant monies from the Summit County RAP tax program.

In addition to the Festival, The Park City Jazz Foundation sponsors Festival Education Day. Severson stated, “Our Festival Education Day offers access to our stars via free clinics Saturday August 23rd. Any budding musician would benefit tremendously from attending these clinics. The Park City Jazz Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting music through educational, performance, and awareness opportunities.” This Festival does just that. Your contribution to PCJF and Festival attendance ensures student exposure to this uniquely American genre of music. Also, all attendees of the clinics get a free ticket to the evening show.
