PC Film Garners Multiple Awards

St. John's Anglican Church in Park City helped pastor/producer Doug Folsom make the 12-minute short film, "Up in the Air" which was just nominated for 12 awards including Best Picture in the 168 Hour Film Festival. The film competed against 82 international entries and it has the most nominations in the festival.  Folsom produced the film with Los Angeles based producers Chris Roberts and Wes Llewellyn in February.  Local Park City High School student Shannon Cunningham was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.  The film was shot in Heber City, Oakley, and Park City. 

The local screening date for the film will be Saturday April 18th, 7pm at St. John's Anglican Church, Park City.  The church is equipped with a state-of-the-art HD projection system with a 16' x 9' screen.  The church is located in the burgundy building in the Quarry Village Shopping Center, Jeremy Ranch. Admission is free. Three additional nominated films will also be shown.   

"Up in the Air" will premiere at the historic Alex Theater in Los Angeles on April 4th.  "X-Men" Producer, Ralph Winter, and "Pursuit of Happyness" Executive Producer, Mark Claymen are judges for the competition.
