So I was on the Summit County Health Department's press conference call this morning and here's the basics:
- One confirmed case of H1N1 from Park City
- 4-5 additional probable cases should have results in the next couple of days
- Park City Schools closed through May 10 (Happy Mother's Day!)
My big problem with all this is that the school district is encouraging everyone to "avoid congregating" while at the same time, the state health department told local businesses to stay open and people should continue to go out to eat and shop, etc.
Which is it? Stay inside or go out and about? Don't panic or head for your bomb shelter?
Government at its finest.
