(Courtesy Mountain Town Music) The Cow Ballet is an udderly ridiculous and fabulous way to celebrate the end of the summer. Amazingly in its 13th year, the Cow Ballet is a major fundraiser for Mountain Town Music and a popular event amongst families and all-age supporters of live music in Summit County. This quintessentially wacky event is an opportunity for area residents, part-time locals, and visitors to show their appreciation for a long summer's worth of free community music provided by Mountain Town Music. There are several ways to become involved: either by attending the event, volunteering, or donating goods and services to the live and silent auctions. MTM hopes everyone in our community will find a way to show their support.

Some may ask, "Just what is a Cow Ballet?"  The MTM Cow Ballet offers kids games, pony and dogsled rides, a petting zoo, opportunity drawings, food and beverages, an awesome silent auction, plus crazy contests, memorable prizes, live music, and a "cow ballet". (Consider it a form of "interpretive" dance) The Cow Ballet is a truly unique event that must be experienced to be understood!
