Thanks to Harley-Davidson, people with intellectual disabilities in Utah will have the opportunity to get on a motorcycle for the first time in their lives.

Annual fall ride to benefit people with disabilities:

Harley-Davidson has selected Best Buddies Utah as the recipient of the annual fall charity ride, which will benefit hundreds of kids with intellectual disabilities throughout Utah. The Fall Ride leaves Harley-Davidson of Salt Lake City Sunday, September 21st at 10:00 AM and rallies up to Park City Harley-Davidson on historic Main Street in Park City. Tickets are $20 per rider and include a barbeque lunch, drinks and entry into a gigantic raffle full of Harley-Davidson riding gear!

Best Buddies:

The mission of Best Buddies is to provide an opportunity for people with intellectual disabilities to be matched in a one-to-one friendship with individuals who do not have intellectual disabilities. Social experiences and relationships are a part of life; unfortunately, individuals with intellectual disabilities have historically been excluded from many of the social opportunities that most people enjoy.

Best Buddies Utah currently has 11 active high school chapters in Bear River, Davis, Kearns, Layton, Logan, Park City, Roy, Skyline, Viewmont, Weber and West; and four active college chapters at USU, Weber State, UofU, and BYU. To find out more about the program and how to participate, visit
