From Trash to Art


MAKE A SCULPTURE OUT OF RECYCLED MATERIALS FOR RECYCLE UTAH’S SQUATTERS EARTH DAY PARTY 

PARK CITY, UTAH – Teachers and students in Summit County are invited to create a sculpture using only recycled materials and enter it into the second annual Squatters Recycled Materials Art Contest.

      The winning sculpture will be seen in Recycle Utah’s Fourth of July Parade Float and the winning classroom will receive a lunch delivered to their school from Squatters Roadhouse Grill.

      Eligibility guidelines include: (1) Sculpture must be made by the students themselves. (2) All materials must be made of recycled or recyclable materials (3) the size must fit on a 4’ by 8’ (maximum) piece of plywood in order to fit on the parade float.

      Classroom sculptures should be submitted to Squatters Roadhouse Grill and Pub on Route 224 the week of April 13th and stay on display at Squatters throughout the month of April. The contest results and celebration will be held on Sunday, April 19th at Recycle Utah’s Earth Day Party at Squatters Brewery and Pub from 5:30 – 9 pm.
