Don't Flush Your Drugs

“NO FLUSH” CAMPAIGN

PARK CITY, UT (September 23, 2008) -- The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District (SBWRD) would like to remind everyone not to flush prescription and over the counter medicines down the toilet. These items can enter the local environment and harm fish and wildlife.

As an alternative, take your expired or unused prescription and over the counter medicines to the Recycle Utah’s Center on October 4th 9 -11:00 am.

By making small, easy changes in our daily habits we can better the quality of our water and our community.

The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District (SBWRD) collects and reclaims the wastewater generated by more than 11,000 homes and commercial enterprises in Park City and Snyderville Basin. Its mission is “…to protect public health and the environment by developing, integrating, and implementing fiscally responsible solutions to wastewater, water reclamation and watershed protection issues.”
