This summer, Park City was all abuzz when democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama made a brief stop here in town. The buzz was expected to be even louder next week when presumed front-runner Hilary Clinton was expected for a high-priced fundraising dinner at a private Glenwild home.

Well, Clinton is still planning on coming…just not the Clinton you thought. According to utah democratic party representatives, Senator Clinton is very concerned with her poll numbers in Iowa, and will be spending much of the next few months there. So in her place, her husband, former President Bill Clinton will be leading the fundraiser, now to be held on Sunday, November 4th.

Details are still being worked out, but indications are that there will be a public event at 3pm.

Utah has become a popular stop for Democratic candidates this year as Governor Bill Richardson, John Edwards and Senator Chris Dodd have also made stops in the Beehive State.
