You are invited to join The Colby School in supporting both the Mountain Trails Foundation and The Colby School for our Third Annual 5k Fun Run, on the fast and fun McLeod Creek Trail. Come join the exciting festivities and help support two great non-profits that help make our community a family oriented place to live.

Mountain Trails has been part of our community for the past twelve years on a mission to preserve, promote, advocate and maintain trails and encourage connections with our neighboring counties.  They have helped Park City create a vibrant 335 mile trail system that started with only ten miles just a few years ago.  The Colby School is an independent non profit school for students in preschool through eighth grade.  Colby believes in giving back to our community and its partnership with the Mountain Trails Foundation is one of many endeavors to support Summit County.

This year the 5k will be followed by a Family Fiesta which will include a dunk tank, food, an opportunity drawing, and other carnival like excitement!

The Fiesta will take place immediately following the race. It will feature Mexican themed food, beverage & family-friendly activities, including pinatas, face painting, crafts, dance lessons, bounce houses, dunk tank (featuring our own Dr. Amy Fehlberg in the tank) and an incredible opportunity drawing that features items like a TREK bike valued at $4,000, a season pass to PCMR, a giant basket of wine, weeks at Camp Colby & more.

To register for the race, log on to http://www.runnercard.com. One Opportunity Drawing ticket is included with each paid race registration ($30 per registrant); and you may purchase additional tickets through the school office ($5 for one ticket or $20 for a package of 5 tickets). Community participants may pre-register for the Fiesta and purchase opportunity drawing tickets separately by contacting Joanna Nieves at The Colby School via email atjnieves@thecolbyschool.org or at 435.615.3966.  You may also register the day of the run.

Events will all take place rain (snow) or shine. Opportunity drawing to take place at 12pm - MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN

We hope to see you there!
