For the past seven years we have asked our local filmmaking community to help us promote Utah as a destination for motion picture production, by creating commercial spots. Entrants to the contest will have a chance to win a cash prize, 2010 Sundance Film Festival Credentials, official UFC gear and the opportunity to have their work viewed by thousands of attendees during the film festival, including filmmakers, producers and directors that are there.
Open to all Utah residents and students attending school in Utah, the contest is judged by film and advertising professionals. Chosen winners will receive $1,500 per winning spot. Each entrant may submit up to four, thirty second spots - individual or campaign style. Winning spots are also aired on Park City Television during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Other awards will include: The Creative Concept Award and the 18 Year and Younger Award.
