Memphis Soul - The Music of Stax Records
featuring Steve Cropper, Duck Dunn, Eddie Floyd & Lester Snell
July 3rd
Bringing some soul to Park City, Memphis Soul - The Stax Records Tour highlights the legacy of Stax Records on July 3rd, featuring legendary musicians Steve Cropper (guitar), Duck Dunn (bass guitar), Eddie Floyd (vocals) & Lester Snell (keyboards). One of the most popular soul music record labels of all time - second only to Motown in sales and influence, but first in gritty, raw, stripped-down soul music - Stax placed more than 167 hit songs in the Top 100 on the pop charts, and a staggering 243 hits in the Top 100 R&B charts.

Roseanne Cash
July 31st
Following her sold-out Eccles Center show in January 2010, Grammy-winner Roseanne Cash will take on the Deer Valley Resort stage on July 31st. The eldest daughter of the iconic Johnny Cash, Roseanne has carved out an acclaimed, singer-songwriter career that has been marked by her own musical poetry and remarkable alto. She rounded out 2009 with the release of "The List," a celebrated album of 12 covers culled from a list of 100 essential country songs her father gave her in 1973. With what Rolling Stone calls "a voice that floats like smoke," plus an ability to "belt it out," Cash has topped Billboard's charts and earned acclaim from new country fans and traditionalists alike.

Playing for Change
August 7th
Arguably the most buzzed about show in recent Eccles Center history, Playing For Change brought the "Stand By Me" YouTube sensation to life on the stage last September, packing the house and leaving everybody wanting more. These internationalstreet performers return to Park City for an encore performance on August 7th, taking theaudience on a journey of discovery, featuring street musicians from New Orleans to the Netherlands, capturing an array of musical styles and emotional human moments.

The Goo Goo Dolls
with special guests Michelle Branch and Parachute
August 18th
On August 18th, The Goo Goo Dolls, along withspecial guests Michelle Branch and Parachute, will choose from their repertoire of 14 Top 10 singles, including radio-friendly hits like "Iris," "Slide" and "Name" to sing on the Deer Valley stage. This Grammy-nominated alternative rock band known for acoustic-driven ballads, has built a reputation for pleasing longtime fans -- and creating legions of new ones -- at highly-acclaimed concerts throughout the country.

Melissa Etheridge
August 20th
On August 20th, Melissa Etheridge shows why she's "the Only One" to rock the Park City night. This Grammy Award winner - who also scored an Academy Award for a tune on Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth soundtrack - is a spitfire and a folk-rock goddess. As Billboard wrote in a glowing review of The Awakening, her 10th album, "As she marks 20 years in an industry that seldom embraces artists as long, how satisfying to hear that Etheridge has as much to say as ever ... her maturity has only served to make her a finer singer."
